Abstract:

This research aims to analyze the perception of teachers in schoolsEtnoeducativas on early learning programs in preschool age range from birth to 6 years of age, the municipality Riohacha La Guajira Colombiana, in order to overcome theoretical and practical shortcomings of these categories based on the empirical realities of teachers.With regard to the methodology used in this study was developed under the qualitative approach to Bonilla and Rodriguez (2008) and Martinez (2009), used as a method Ethnographic Guber (2004) and Martinez (2009), the technique is by participant observation and semi-structured interview.Key informants were composed of five informants from various etnoescuelas of the aforementioned municipality.This investigation arose due to different factors observed in Etnoeducativas Riohacha Township Schools, which range from low academic achievement, social and emotional problems among others; in a significant percentage of students.According to the results, it was evident that the prospect of etnodocentes Riohacha, displayed early stimulation, as a teaching task that should be used from the earliest age in both formal educational settings, such as in educational settings Home and family, so that a child with skills and abilities able to face the various challenges offered by society today is formed.
