In the manufacture of any product, the current industry must apply computational design tools and computer assisted manufacturing (CAD/CAE/CAM) tools, which may implement the tasks of creating, modifying, modeling and manufacturing parts. From this view, it is vital for the country to have engineers with a high degree of training and education in these areas. For this reason, it is necessary for universities to have updated CURRICULUM design tools and assisted computing manufacturing tools (CAD/CAE/CAM), and a qualified productive labor force (teachers) related to production. This research is aimed at improving the CURRICULUM of the National Training Program (NTP) at the Mechanical Engineering Technology University Institute of Bolivar State (IUTEB), through the implementation of CAD / CAM tools to enhance the professional skills of the graduates thus matching the level of demands from the business sector and contributing to local development. Key Words Implementation, CAD / CAM, teaching.
