The main purpose of this paper is to inquire about the polysemic experience of art based on two key theses. The first one states that art provides a non-trivial knowledge of an important area of the world. The second one states that this kind of knowledge might be non-conceptual.Both are based on the idea that art not only possesses a final and absolute unit of meaning, but that it also generates clusters of meaning that are permanently recreated, even if a standard meaning is identifiable.
