Currently, developed countries have implemented policies for Green Development specifically in the Sustainable Consumption and Production areas. Therefore, businesses take into consideration the life cycle of the product and services where buying Green represents a key strategy in the sustainability supply chain [1]. The process of buying green starts with the evaluation of the technical requirements of the product or service, vendor selection and evaluation comes later for those which meet the technical and environmental requirements to proceed to contracts, the vendor should guarantee the final disposition of the products if required to meet the environmental policy standards. A pilot program was performed in which the vendors self-evaluate their company against sustainability criteria (in this case an Educational Services company in Bogota (Colombia)). Criteria to consider included environmental aspects, environmental stewardship, and organization as primary consideration when buying "green.
