The Bore (Alocasia macrorhiza) has been used as an alimentary´s supplemented, in different livestock farms. The biomass production for plant is about 14 kilos in one year; is from India and appears in the continent from Brazil as food for cattles; it´s Alocasia´s gender and the Macrorhiza´s species; it grow in coastal land (1700 amsl) and survives in a lot off climatic zones. Reaches around 4 meters height, with leaves between 80 cm and 1 meter wide, reaches 662 grams leaf´s each; a virtue we find a stem that accumulates starches, for being used as an alimentary supplemented, a disadvantage, It accumulates calcium oxalates and tannins (antinutional factors); in this article we present a comparative diets for pigs and broilers and an economic comparative analysis to production. In conclusion we could said that the first instance, the diets supplementation whit bore’s leaf (Alocasia macrorhiza) reduce the productions cost, however, the administration from farming must be economically sustainable for the have correct result.
