This paper presents an arrangement of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antennas that opérate over the 2.6 GHz for 4G-LTE (Long Term Evolution) Wireless communication systems. This arrangement consists of 4 compact patch antenna in a dielectric substrate with the dimensions of 125mm X 62.5mmX1.27mm.Modification of the ground elevation along with the systematic placement and orientation of the antennas atop a substrate play a major role in the reducing mutual coupling which normally degrades the output of MIMO setups. The performance of the MIMO setup is evaluated using simulations and measurements of the scattering parameters, radiation patterns, and the coefficients of spatial correlation.
