The use of information technology and telecommunications in the field of health, and specifically in the detection and control of diseases, is increasing each day around the world. Telemedicine has been rising as a technological innovation in the past years, due to it allows remote care for diagnosis and monitoring of diseases that benefit populations in rural areas. This article aims to show the preliminary results obtained of a Project research interdisciplinary and inter - headquarters that allows develop an information system to promote, prevent, diagnosis and treatment of dental caries, which relies on telemedicine concept.
