Due to growth of traffic urban, this has required the development of methodologies and systems for supervision and monitoring of itself that allow of way effective the acquisition of urban traffic information for establish the behavior that is present on the roads. Measures like vehicle counter, averages velocities, origin-destination matrices among others, help to establish the possible behaviors that is present on the roads, so is necessary that acquisition of data be reliable and truthful. Technologies like Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Bluetooth, Global positioning System (GPS), image processing and others, are employed for do this kind of measure, but some measures do not to do in real time, which leads to that information is not updated, and therefore, it does late for urban traffic administration. In this paper we expose the development of a measurement velocity average system through of Bluetooth technology. This system was developed for tasks of measurement in real time and be flexible to the dynamics that are presents on urban traffic.
