Physical Fitness is the most important tool to ensure job performance. You can maintain a proper Physical Fitness through implementation Physical Conditioning sessions, achieving an adequate performance on workers. PURPOSE: Conduct state of art for evidence the importance of good Physiclal Fitness and to do Physical Conditioning sessions on workers. METHODS: MeSH search terms are established. These terms generated in sum, 178.169 articles. With these terms, establish 3 search equations using Boolean connectors (IN/ AND): 1) Physical Fitness AND Physical Conditioning IN workers, 2) Physical Fitness IN Workers, 3) Physical Conditioning IN Workers: The specific inclusion criteria are: a) items made in the last 10 years, b) Review articles, c) Original articles, d) Full text articles. RESULTS: We found 84 articles (77 original articles - 91.6% of the total products of equation 1 and 7 review articles - 8.33% of the total products of equation 1) relating adequate Physical Fitness with realization of Physical Conditioning in workers performance. They are 166 articles (149 original articles - 89.75% of the total products of equation 2 and 17 review articles - 10.24% of the total products of equation 2) that demonstrate the importance of proper Physical Fitness in workers. By equation 3 search, are obtained 1023 articles, (933 original articles - 91.20% of all items of the equation 90 are review articles (8.79% of all items of the equation). Articles found in this last equation demonstrate the importance in achieving Physical Conditioning sessions in workers. CONCLUSIONS: We found that a good Physical Fitness ensures good working performance. To maintain good Physical Fitness, it is necessary to implement Physical Conditioning sessions, which aims not only to improve the Physical Condition, but also to control cardiovascular risk factors (obesity, sedentary lifestyle, etc), which can develop into workers.
