30 years of Autonomy in Castilla-La Mancha: Regional or penta-province land management model?After 30 years of Autonomous Communities in Spain, we feel it is time to study the origins and development of Castilla-La Mancha; one of the country's multi-province regions with the most serious integrated land management problems.We will also briefly discuss the historic region of Castilla la Nueva.As for the current Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, we have focused on analysing land development on different scales as well as the region's general land management policy, highlighting the influential role of local geography.
