In this article we investigated the introduction of a curricular reform of chemistry in Argentina in the 20 th century.We tried to analyze the reform seeking to understand the changing and continuity as the outcomes of social and cultural refraction processes in the history of a school subject.This research included reports and bulletins of Proyect 30, memories of seminars, textbooks, articles and governmental dictums.Isomorphism in the curriculum through the reform came out from international exchanges in conferences and the role of multilateral organizations.A disciplinary code is responsible for the stability, and also helped to keep old traditions in curricular organization.
