The real-time presentation of the huge data rate generated by high-resolution radars is a challenging task. Latest developments on commercial-of-the-shelf GPUs for image processing provide a suitable resource to implement specific algorithms to perform the required processing at the required throughput. A real time scan conversion algorithm has been implemented using GPU and parallel CPU processes on a conventional computer. The proposed approach has been validated for real time operation.
