This research paper focuses on an epistemological, theoretical, conceptual and scientific review related to a clinical diagnostic understanding of its implications taking into consideration possibilities and limitations based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Guide for Mental Disorders, which is more than sixty years old with many modifications along its history.
