El presente articulo se basa en una revision de la teoria disponible entre los anos 1998 y 2010 a cerca de la correlacion entre la longitud de los dedos de las manos y la testosterona prenatal, llamado indice o digito D2:D4, y que posteriormente fue relacionado con condiciones fisicas y psicologicas en los seres humanos, se realiza un recuento de algunos estudios llevados a cabo en Europa, y corroborados o contrastados con diferentes teorias, que permiten conocer el sustento cientifico para investigaciones ejecutadas en la actualidad, en distintos lugares del mundo y que han tenido como objetivo evaluar los resultados de los primeros estudios acerca de la posible medicion de la testosterona prenatal a traves de los dedos indice y anular de las manos humanas y su asociacion con caracteristicas fisicas y/o psicologicas.
