The Argentinean political science has considered the Governors as most important figures on subnational level politics, with capabilities to influence the national level. Despite their leadership, the institutional design also recognizes the vicegovernors as relevant actors on political dynamics. ftis study analyzes the profiles of elected Argentinean vicegovernors between 2003 and 2015 inclusive, through an analysis of their political careers, thus getting a first approach of their roles, relegated on the Argentinean subnational political scene, who have began to amass relevance for academic studies to come.
