The article tackles the issue of ecological education in the context of Pope Francis's encyclical Laudato Si' that has just been published, and that is devoted to care of the world we live in, as in a home that we all share. The author argues that the document should be an important element of the Church's social teaching, as in it the Pope encourages Catholics to recognize the fact that taking care of the environment is part of Christian responsibility. It is a call to find God's presence in everything and it says that such an attitude requires conversion that allows to consider the way the future of our planet should be built in. This is why a dialogue between theology and ecological education is so important.
