The present article is about a research which had as fi nality get to know and understand the values concerning for the Legal Institution that is present in the discourse of civil policemen interviewed.For that, the interviewed people answered a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview.Three civil policemen were interviewed, all male, working at a police station in Paraná.For the treatment of the interviews was used the content analysis, which allowed the categorization of them.From that, it was revealed that the participants had predominantly an instituted speech about situations relevant to their practice, referring to the criminal law to answer the questions.
