This work belongs to a research titled “ The labour technical formation in Colombia, sector of systems and telecommunications: Impact of its graduates. The case of Montería, Cordoba (1996-2012). For this case we present the current state of the art of research on studies of evaluation of the impact of the labour technical programmes on a general level and especially of its graduates in order to know which are the main research tendencies on this problem as well as its results. In this way, we take a tour through the different studies made in Europe, Latin America and Colombia. We conclude that research tends to evaluate problems such as the articulation between the educative and the production sector, the quality of the formation and its pertinence, as well as its labor insertion and access to the education of the most vulnerable populations of society.
