America Latina se puede entender desde muchas perspectivas, por ello es inadmisible evitar un angulo o enfoque al momento de dilucidar fenomenos y hechos sociales situados en un tiempo y espacio determinados. En el presente articulo se pretende ofrecer una mirada del continente enunciada desde la concepcion materialista de la historia, con la intencion de desprendernos de los juicios eurocentricos y hacer, en cambio, una critica desde la historia a los modelos importados. Todo esto con el proposito de aportar a la construccion de un corpus teorico marxista latinoamericano que invite al debate y a la reflexion en torno a este tema. Abstract Latin America can be understood by different viewpoints, therefore is inadmissible to not choice one point of view when elucidating social facts and phenomena that are given in a certain time and place. In the following article, we pose a viewpoint based on the principle of materialist conception of the history, looking for being detached from the European-centered reasoning and being critic –through the History– to the models abroad Latin America, founded on the need of building a Latin American Marxist theoretic frame that elicit discussions and thought about this subject.
