Abstract:

Four new oxalato SnPh 3 group containing compounds with R 2 NH 2 + (R=Cy,isoBu) as counter-cations have been synthesized and studied by infrared and Mössbauer techniques .The structures are ionic and contain [C 2 0 4 SnPh 3 ]~,C 2 0 4 (SnPh 3 ) 2 or [C 2 0 4 (SnPh 3 ) 3 ] + with cis-coordinated SnPh 3 groups connected in pairs as a cage by R 2 NH 2 + cations through NH Ο bonds, the chloride ions as counter-anions interacting electrostatically .
