We considered the following variables: socio demographic, pregnancy, planning method, microorganisms and screening scheme among others, analyzing cross sectional. Results: The atypical (ASCUS) and low-grade intraepithelial lesions, lesions were more prevalent in the two study periods and HSIL abnormalities, there was a higher proportion of cases in 2009 to 6% compared to 2010 with 3% of the reported cases. Conclusions: Protective factors already described in the literature and practice of cytology, cervical smear may allow time to diagnose pre-neoplastic lesions, but for our population generates a concern because the results are not as satisfactory finding not reported any sieve user within the scheme (1-13) and (3-3).
