The twenty-first century university is increasingly needed to meet the challenges that contemporary society imposes related to production and transmission of culture and the training of professionals who demand a high preparation from the scientific and research. As increasingly required generate higher education institutions, from teaching and research articulated relationship between theory and practice in real scenarios of future performance professionals, with the intention that college students have development of research skills. The authors of this paper presents a set of theoretical reflections on the subject and from the subject practical action research methodology aimed at contributing to the development of research skills and the search for knowledge integration that enables the comprehensive training of future Career professionals of Psychology at the University of Guayaquil , Ecuador.
