In it, a complex thematic and stylistic interweaving animates the painful memories of Independence struggles, where the carnivalesque and phony deeds of people structure an ample framework of writings, rewritings, versions, and diversions that pretend to dismantle the historical, political, and sociocultural ideologies of Colombians about the beginning of the Nation.
