This research paper aimed to systematize the self-management process by the community mental health networks in educational institutions from San Lorenzo (Narino), conducted through a qualitative study based on the historical-hermeneutic approach. Several self-management experience meetings were held and emerging strategies of the self-management process were described. Later, the results, based on the community of mental health networks, were assessed, interpreted and clarified, suggesting a political, sustainable, and viable proposal.
