The main purpose of this paper is to introduce the development of a simulation model in order to evaluate the impact of massive recharge of Electrical Vehicles (EVs) on distribution networks in Bogotá, Colombia, taking into account specific EVs user behavior scenarios. EVs recharge is characterized and represented by software models based on EVs test measures and existing distribution networks topologies. Impact evaluation includes observation of node voltages, regulation and transformers loadability. Results are obtained from the simulations reproducing the consequences of the inclusion of EVs charging points inside the systems. Finally, according to the information obtained, Demand Side Management (DSM) strategies regarding the inclusion of EVs in energy distribution systems are proposed.
