There are various studies on this subject with convergent conclusions. In the Republic of Paraguay there is abundant water, in the process of incipient urban contamination, but what is lacking is investment and to some degree management. There is the need to improve not only the quantity of connections to drinking water and sewerage, but also a significant effort in the treatment of sewage waters.
