This paper presents a review of microgrid control architectures, and it proposes a decentralized control architecture for multiple microgrids operating as a power aggregator in demand response. This architecture consists of four control levels. The interrelationships of the hierarchical levels in the proposed architecture are described, and the operation models of control architectures for each microgrid and for multiple microgrids operating as aggregator are presented. Finally, some comments about the proposal are presented.
