A mistake travels Colombia, the misunderstanding that the jurisdiction of the arbitrators is directly proportional to the amount of their fees, nonsense that is deepening the worst of damages that can support the arbitration: the loss of honor. Regarding the repeated mistakes of jurisdiction, and especially apparent lack of jurisdiction, in which the arbitrators self-defined, positively, their jurisdiction collecting their high fees, follow the process and uttered an award that is subsequently declared invalid because organic mistake of lack of jurisdiction. It is time that the legislator provides as a result the return of the emoluments paid to the arbitrators, duly updated.
