During the late fifties, Francisco Urondo and Alejandra Pizarnik were part of the avantgarde group “poesía buenos aires”, where they have elaborated their first productions; their poetics, however, couldn’t be more different. This paper analyzes the poetic relationship between these poets at the beginning of their work during their youth. The starting point is a manuscript where Pizarnik rewrites an Urondo’s poem in a page of Urondo’s Breves. It also analyses poems from their first two books with the attempt to establish the initial inter-textual bonds that would lead to further developments.
