Factores que influyen en la adherencia en el tratamiento farmacológico y no farmacológico de los pacientes con riesgo de enfermedades cardiovasculares (WP)
Objective: To promote favorable behaviors towards self-care and disease management through an educational strategy in a primary health care IPS.Method: a quantitative preliminary study of quasi-experimental pretest approach and longitudinal design posts was performed.Nonprobabilistic sampling: convenience sampling; 21 patients diagnosed with hypertension with 7 individuals (33.33%), obesity with 6 (28.57%) and kidney disease and diabetes with 4 (19.05%) each were included; The patients were classified by their first diagnosis who are enrolled in a risk program, participating during the months of January to July 2018, on a voluntary basis. The measurement and adhesion instrument based on the theory of self-efficacy validated by Brayant Méndez ( 2016) was used to assess the most relevant self-efficacy factors for the development and implementation of the educational intervention adjusting the criteria of the theory of selfefficacy with the design of didactic units from the approach of teaching theory for understanding (EPC).Results: statistical data. They were obtained through the graphic histogram test to observe the distribution of the data of each criterion according to the self-efficacy model, finding that none of them had a normal distribution, for this reason the Wilcoxon range and signs test was chosen by throwing a comparison between the total score (average = 136.66SD: 3.27, Range = 129-144), versus the score for that same questionnaire, prior to the intervention (average = 88 SD: 5.77, Range = 74-100).The result for both scores was distributed normally, therefore, a paired t-test was performed to find a significant difference in the score obtained (t = 41.82 degrees of freedom = 20, p = <0.001).Conclusions: the implementation of the program based on the expectations of treatment, risk perception, among other criteria of self-efficacy, show that health literacy with innovative educational methodologies in health, improves the understanding of the disease, the empowerment of favorable behaviors in maintaining health and avoid complications or premature deaths.
