Continuing Education is a need for the teacher as it is a part of the teaching job. Taking into account that Municipal Education Network of Florianópolis promotes continuing education for several years, this research aimed to know the assessment of the Physical Education teachers on the continuing education provided and identify sense units regarding the quality of those moments. A qualitative analysis has been made of their speeches, in different career stages and functional contexts. Their speeches have been organized under four topics, which signal relevant aspects: effective participation of the teachers, focus on reflecting over practice, meeting objectivity and proposal continuity. It has been observed that continuing education is an established process in that network, but the teachers still question its quality. That is also noted on the distance learning model. At last, they indicate that the process is not always reckoned as an important moment, whether by principals or teachers. &nbsp
