The paper explains the design and implementation of a monitoring station weather variables for purposes of application in precision agriculture. Monitored variables are temperature and humidity, soil moisture and wind direction. The sensors used are calibrated with measuring instruments available on the monitoring station located on the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia Tunja, and communication of monitored data is sent to a computer via Bluetooth wireless module. The monitoring system is developed as part of the final project of the course of microcontrollers of the UPTC Tunja.
