Objective: to identify the discourse that women victims of partner violence build on women's subjectivity. Method: qualitative design, of the exploratory kind. Semi-structured interview was used as the instrument on three women between 30 and 50 years of age. Results: the results show that the construction of discourse revolves around self-denial, male power over women, and mastery of social, family and religious discourse to tolerate couple violence. Conclusions: speeches limit and restrict the role of women in the service of others and ignore the construction of female subjectivity as a mobilizer of propositional and inclusive changes to personal, family and social level, showing the importance of mobilizing new discursive forms on female subjectivity to allow equal changes in affective and social relationships.
