Abstract Objetive: The goal for the following research was to design a multimedia training video in ergonomics, according to the conditions, characteristics and biomechanical requirements to which workers are exposed in the operation of regular coffee harvest in the farm Arcadia, situated in the municipality Libano, in the province of Tolima Colombia in 2013. Methods: Target people were men and women within 19 and 50 years. A standard survey measuring repeatable body motion among coffee collectors was use to better understand the conditions of such work, the results of the survey were used in the completion of the training, video. This research have several steps, it begin with a field visit to understand the nature of the work done at the farm as well as the biomechanics involve in it. Another step was to establish an audiovisualrecord of the perform work, after that the measuring tools were apply, and the information collected, then the results were analyzed and use to develop the script of the training video, which uses the findings in ergonomics to proper train workers in correct body postures adopted in the coffee harvesting industry. Results: When field observation, we identified that the road conditions, weather, the layout of the coffee plants within the crop rows and collector characteristics such as age and experience make collection activity within the Arcadia, despite having a dynamic and adequate logistics, time may have diseases, own occupation, mainly on the upper, hand and back. Keywords: Audiovisual media, human engineering, training, gather coffee.
