Temporomandibular disorders are a frequent chief complaint. Moderate to high intensity pain is the main reason by which patients come to seek help; they hope to find an immediate solution to their condition. Excellent anti-inflammatory and analgesics benefits are found with the use of low power laser therapy; it allows having a good treatment option in the acute phase of this symptom. This is a case of a male patient who came having intense pain at the temporomandibular joint, bilateral masseteric zone, neck and shoulders and limited mandibular movements.
