A time-frequency based methodology over phonocardiographic signals is presented in this work. The aim is to recognize cardiac disorders. The nature of these pathologies allows their representation in the joint domain of time frequency, the Gabor transform is performed in this task. The results demonstrate that is possible to recognize cardiacs disorders by means of this technique.
