The work is based on the application of a power management program in the area of steam production, that allows to characterize the operative state and to propose strategies of improvement in the Compania Nacional de Levaduras LEVAPAN S.A., located in Tulua, department of Valle del Cauca. For their development, simple tools of power management are applied that allow, from historical data of fuel consumption and steam generation, to propose strategies of improvement in the mentioned company. Finally, from the analysis of the collected data, applicable strategies of improvement in the company are presented.
