In this work we firstly evaluate the code-based scheme of the push-to-peer proposal in a HomePlug AV in-building scenario. For that, we propose a simplified model to simulate the variable capacity of the HomePlug AV network. This is an important difference respect to the original proposal, because in that work authors only consider a constant bandwidth among the peers. We also add a new connection type which is based in the establishment of Dijkstra multi-hop paths. The conclusion is that multi-hop paths are too fragile with the changing channels conditions.
