This study evaluated the in vitro antiplasmodial activity of four extracts from the plant Calophyllum lucidum, through HRP-2 assay. The MeOH extract showed the greatest activity with a maximal inhibition of 81% and an IC50 of 8.7 µg/mL. It is necessary to continue studying this extract searching the active metabolites.
