Technical losses in distribution systems are a fundamental aspect to optimize. Reconfiguration of primary feeders and load phase balance are efficient techniques to reduce technical loss in distribution systems. This paper presents a novel method which minimizes operative and inversion costs considering the load curve and a three-phase and mono-phase model. The algorithm is applied in a test system showing good results.
