This paper aims to explore, from my experience as a public servant, the narratives, daily practices and power relationships derived from the Youth Public Policy in Bogotá. The article will conclude that the Policy led to the creation of a political community which facilitated the reproduction of the state power through a diversity of mechanisms, actors and territories. Moreover, it became a recognition and identity framework for young people in this city.
