Results of allylic oxidation of limonene and a-pinene monoterpenes using silica inmovilized metallophthalocyanines as biomimetic catalyts are presented. The effect of the metal was evaluated on the production of verbenone and carvone. The following order of reactivity was observed: Fe > Co> Cr > Mn > Cu. Higher yields to verbenone, 15%, were obtained over FePcS-S and CoPcS-S.
