CuFeGaSe3 and CuFeInSe3 materials were prepared by the usual melting and annealing technique. X-ray photographs show a tetragonal structure with lattice parameters a = (5.639 ± 0.003) Å, c = (11.13 ± 0.02) Å, c/a = 1.974 and a = (5.761 ± 0.001) Å, c = (11.497 ± 0.009) Å, c/a = 1.996, respectively. DTA analysis gives melting points of 1304 and 1210 K, respectively.
