As a result of the Victims' Law, and since the signing of the peace agreement between the Colombian state and FARC-EP, the Public Policy on Archives of Human Rights, Historical Memory and Armed Conflict was published in 2017.However, the implementation process depends on a series of social, institutional and political variables.From the political moment in the country, it is necessary to recognize the opportunities or threats that may arise for the correct implementation of the policy, so that the Colombian State and the parties involved in the armed conflict can comply with the victims, guaranteeing truth, reparation and non-repetition.
