This article presents the results of the first phase of an investigation completed and oriented to design, implement and evaluate a teaching strategy that promotes knowledge and conservation attitudes toward water in students from a rural school in the department of Boyaca (Colombia) using as media hub the Muisca People’s world view around water. To achieve this purpose, following the criteria of action research, a code book that compiled categories, issues, items and intentionality of
