ABSTRACT Episthmium everardi sp.n. is described from a bird, Pitangus sulfuratus , from Trinidad, W.I. It differs from all other species in the genus in having 20 circumoral spines, each 20 to 22 long, and in the shape of the body, which is attenuated at its anterior end.
