The title cocrystal, 2C10H9NO2·C6H6O2, belongs to a series of molecular systems based on quinoline N-oxide. The hydroquinone molecule lies on an inversion centre. The cocrystal structure is held together by an O—H⋯O hydrogen bond, with a donor–acceptor distance of 2.6118 (18) Å. The dihedral angle formed by the mean planes of the two molecules is 83.5 (1)°. In the crystal structure, the title complex is stabilized by weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Molecules of methoxyquinoline N-oxide and hydroquinone are intertwined, forming chains along the [010] direction.
