Abstract A high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method has been developed to determine riboflavin in food samples. A reverse phase C18 column with ultraviolet detection was employed. Sample preparation included acid and enzimatic hydrolysis, followed by purification on Florisil and Sep-Pak cartridges. Recoveries of 98% were obtained. A detection limit of 0.4 ng/injection has been achieved.
