GUÍA DE BUENAS PRÁCTICAS QUE GARANTICEN LA CONTINUIDAD DE SUMINISTRO ELÉCTRICO EN CENTROS HOSPITALARIOS

Acceso Abierto

Abstract:

One of the determinant criteria as a design factor for electrical distribution installations in any building, but in particular in hospitals due to their functionality, is the continuous nature of the power supply. Although there are generic regulations that can be applied, the size and number of installations involved may mean that different solutions are adopted depending on the criteria of the responsible engineers. The objective is to clarify some aspects, standardize criteria and act as a reference when designing continuous power supply in a hospital. A proposal for different supply schemes, the typification of loads, and the structure of the low voltage interior distribution are presented. The proposed requirements are more demanding than Low Voltage Electro-technical Regulations (LVER) and have been set down as a directive in the sphere of the Regional Health Management of Castile & Leon.
