Abstract In this paper we provide descriptions for the tadpoles of frogs in the genus Nephelobates La Marca 1994: N. alboguttatus (Boulenger 1903), N. duranti (Péfaur 1985), N. haydeeae (Rivero 1976), N. mayorgai (Rivero 1978), N. meridensis (Dole & Durant 1972), N. molinarii (La Marca 1985), N. orostoma (Rivero 1976) and N. serranus (Péfaur 1985).
